Research

My main areas of interest are late medieval and early modern English literature, particularly romance, devotional lyric, and vernacular theology. I specialize in late Tudor and early Stuart prose and verse romance. My dissertation, “Refracting the Past in Post-Reformation Romance,” offers a new narrative of the reception and production of chivalric romance in post-Reformation England.

My research has been published in the Sidney Journal and Comparative Drama. I have presented my work at the International Congress on Medieval Studies and the Shakespeare Association of America.
